The Theatre

"The Theatre" is a stand-alone existential horror comic written by James Shortly and illustrated by Michael Faubert. Our protagonist materializes within a theatre and meets several interesting characters in the audience as they struggle to navigate and bargain their way to the front, compelled forward by a writhing sphere of humanity floating on the stage.

Beautifully printed and saddle sewn by Vide Press in Toronto, this first print run is limited to an edition of 100, with each copy hand-stamped and numbered. Each copy includes two 5" vinyl die-cut stickers of the first and final full-art pages of the comic.
